Kringelfjederi

In the heart of the Old Rauma (an Unesco world heritage site btw) there’s an Italian restaurant you can’t help but fall in love with: Osteria da Filippo. Funny coincidence that Osteria’s lace curtain’s linen is grown and made into thread in Italy and dyed in Finland. Both the 3 meter lace and the cloth are hand made by Tarmo.

Osteria da Filippo is located by the Old Rauma market square, just next to the old town hall (in the background). The old town hall was built in 1772. The lace pattern in the curtain is approximately from the same era.
