Christmas town Rauma gifted a Rauma lace sweater pattern for everyone to use – for free! The pattern was designed and completed by Tarmo Thorström together with Katrina Salo. The pattern was inspired by the Uus kultseppä and Mandeljepyri Rauma laces.
Tarmo and Katrina chose the yarn used in the sweater. Double thread Myrskyluodon Villa -yarn has been made from the wool of sheep native to the Åland Islands. Similar wool yarn can also be used to make the sweater.
The pattern is available online in Finnish, English, Spanish, German and Russian. You can find it also in Ravelry and rate it there.
